ICT is excited to present a webinar on our new product FAM-FLICA Caspase-1 Assay (WEHD)!
Pyroptosis is a highly inflammatory form of programmed cell death frequently triggered upon infection with intracellular pathogens. This process begins with recognition of intracellular and extracellular danger signals, which leads to formation of a large, multi-protein complex known as the inflammasome. In this webinar, learn about the mechanisms of pyroptosis, including the critical role of caspase-1, a protease involved in activation of pro-inflammatory cytokines, plasma membrane rupture, and other morphological characteristics of pyroptosis.
We’ll examine how ImmunoChemistry Technologies’ FLICA (Fluorescent-Labeled Inhibitor of Caspases) assays can be used to assess cell death, including caspase-1 activation and pyroptosis.
We’ll also introduce our new FAM-FLICA WEHD Assay, which allows researchers another target sequence option for detecting caspase-1 in vitro.
Register for our webinar on this new product scheduled for September 22 at 7:00 am & 11:00 am CST.
Presented by our Director of R&D and Quality Control, Tracy Murphy.
