Antibody Purification

Whether you have a current antibody development project running with us that requires antibody purification, or a mouse hybridoma line from which you need purified antibody, we offer a variety of purification options to suit your needs.

Methodology: Affinity Purification

  • Typically used for purification of polyclonal antibodies.
  • Includes custom column preparation & affinity purification (25mL) for the 1st run.
  • Antibody at >90% purity in your buffer of choice.

Methodology: Protein A/G Purification
(Maxi-scale: up to 100mg)

  • Allows purification of total IgG from a sample.
  • Commonly used for purification of both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies.
  • Antibody at >90% purity in your buffer of choice.

Methodology: Protein A/G Purification
(Midi-scale: 1-5mg)

  • Allows purification of total IgG from a sample.
  • Commonly used for purification of both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies.
  • Antibody at >90% purity in your buffer of choice.

Methodology: Protein A/G Purification
(Mini-scale: 100-400ug)

  • Allows purification of total IgG from a sample.
  • Commonly used for purification of both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies.
  • Antibody at >70% purity in your buffer of choice.

Methodology: Adsorption (Removal of Cross-Reactive Species)

  • Serum, or other antibody-containing matrix, is applied to a sequence of columns to remove various cross-reactive antibodies.
  • Antibody at >90% purity in your buffer of choice.

Chicken Antibody Purification and Labeling

Using proprietary technology, we can provide antibodies at two levels of purity.

Aves antibodies come either as an "IgY fraction" which is >90% pure antibody or as an “affinity purified antibody,” which is 100% pure antibody. The IgY fraction product contains all of the antibody circulating in the hen at the time of egg production, while the affinity purified product contains only those which recognize and bind with high affinity to the antigen molecule.

We can label primary antibodies with biotin and various fluorochromes, or conjugate them to agarose beads for immunoprecipitation (IP), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), or antigen purification applications.
