Our Anti-Fibronectin rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies Incorporated is produced in-house. It detects human Fibronectin, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, WB, ELISA.

Western blotting of HepG2 cell lysate using 0.2 ug/mL, 1 ug/mL, or 5 ug/mL Antibodies Incorporated rabbit anti-fibronectin antibody (RP-4003). RP-4003 rabbit anti-fibronectin antibody recognizes endogenous fibronectin at 200 kDa.

Immunofluorescent staining of HepG2 cells using 5 ug/mL rabbit anti-fibronectin antibody (RP-4003) (green). The cells were mounted with Antibodies Incorporated Fluoroshield with DAPI mounting medium (Cat#AR-6501). DAPI nuclear stain (blue) shows cell nuclei. Anti-fibronectin stains the membrane of HepG2 cells. ferritin in the cytoplasm of HepG2 cells.

Fibronectin

Target Description

Fibronectin is a glycoprotein present in a soluble dimeric form in plasma, and in a dimeric or multimeric form at the cell surface and extracellular matrix. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion and migration process including embryogenesis, wound healing, blood coagulation, host defense, and metastasis. They also occur as dimers of two 200 kDa subunits. Fibronectin has been implicated in carcinoma development in lung cancer. Fibronectin expression is increased especially in non-small cell lung carcinoma. The adhesion of lung carcinoma cells to Fibronectin enhances tumorgenecity and confers resistance to apoptosis induced by standard chemotherapeutic agents.
