Product Details

KChIP4 K+ channel
Potassium voltage-gated channel interacting protein 4 is encoded by the gene KCNIP4. KCNIP4 is a member of the recoverin family. KCNIP4 is a regulatory subunit of Kv4/D (Shal)-type voltage-gated rapidly inactivating A-type potassium channels.KCNIP4 modulates KCND2 channel density, inactivation kinetics, and rate of recovery from inactivation in a calcium-dependent and isoform-specific manner. KCNIP4 is expressed in brain and bone marrow. Diseases associated with KCNIP4 include Synovial Angioma and Childhood Malignant Schwannoma.
