Product Details
BKbeta4 K+ channel
Calcium-activated potassium channel subunit beta-4, Potassium Calcium-Activated Channel Subfamily M Regulatory Beta Subunit 4 or BKBeta4 is encoded by the gene KCNMB4. BKbeta4 can bind to KCNMA1 to form a channel in the calcium activated large conductance (MaxiK channel) family. BKbeta4 acts to modulate the calcium sensitivity and gating kinetics of KCNMA1. It is expressed in brain and CNS.
