Product Details
Kv7.4/KCNQ4 K+ channel
Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily KQT member 4, Voltage-Gated Potassium Channel Subunit Kv7.4 or KCNQ4 is encoded by the gene KCNQ4. KCNQ4 is thought to play a critical role in the regulation of neuronal excitability, particularly in sensory cells of the cochlea. It is found in the outer hair cell of cochlea, brain, heart, and skeletal muscle. Diseases associated with KCNQ4 include types of deafness.
