Product Details

SCG10/Stathmin-2
Stathmin 2, Superior Cervical Ganglia, Neural Specific 10 (SCG10) is encoded by the gene STMN2 and is a member of the stathmin family of phosphoproteins. Stathmin 2 is involved in regulation of microtubule dynamics and signal transduction. In this manner, Stathmin 2 plays a regulatory role in neuronal growth. Stathmin 2 is expressed in brain in neurons and present in growth cones developing neurons. Diseases associated with STMN2 include down syndrome and Creutzfeldt-jakob disease.
