Product Details
Monodisperse magnetite (Fe₃O₄) cores (25 ± 2 nm diameter, < 10 % SD) are sequentially coated with an oleic acid monolayer and an amphiphilic polymer bearing surface carboxylic acid groups, yielding stable aqueous dispersibility (~40-50 nm hydrodynamic Z-average, PDI < 0.1) and a high negative zeta potential (–50 to –60 mV in HPLC-grade water) . These nanoparticles are rigorously characterized by SAXS, TEM, dynamic light scattering, and zeta potential measurements to ensure uniformity and batch-to-batch consistency . Ideal for applications in bioconjugation, magnetic separation, drug delivery formulations, and surface functionalization in aqueous systems requiring reactive carboxyl functionalities.
