Product Details
CDY1/2
This antibody recognizes the proteins Testis-specific chromodomain protein Y 1 and 2 and are encoded by the genes CDY1 and CDY2A respectively. These genes each have a paralog (CDY1B and CDY2B) which are also present on the Y chromosome. Proteins in the CDY-related family contain a chromodomain, involved in chromatin binding, and a histone acetyltransferase catalytic domain. These proteins are expressed in the nucleaus in testis. Diseases associated with these genes include Y-Linked Spermatogenic Failure, and Y Chromosome Infertility.
