Product Details
INPP4b
Inositol polyphosphate 4-phosphatase type II is encoded by the gene INPP4B. INPP4B is a member of the inositol 3,4-bisphosphate 4-phosphatase family. INPP4B is an enzyme involved in phosphatidylinositol pathways. This enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of the 4-position phosphate of phosphatidylinositol 3,4-bisphosphate, inositol 1,3,4-triphosphate, and inositol 3,4-triphosphate. The lipid phosphatase activity is critical for tumor suppressor function. INPP4B activity modulates cell cycle progression and cell survival. INPP4B is widely expressed with the highest levels occuring in the skeletal muscle and heart. No disorders were found to be associated with INPP4B.
