Product Details
JIP-2/IB-2
Mitogen-activated protein kinase 8 interacting protein 2 is encoded by the gene MAPK8IP2. MAPK8IP2 is a member of the JIP scaffold family. MAPK8IP2 is a scaffold protein that is involved in the regulation of the c-Jun amino-terminal kinase signaling pathway. MAPK8IP2 has been shown to interact with and regulate the activity of MAPK8/JNK1 and MAP2K7/MKK7 kinases. MAPK8IP2 is expressed in the brain and testis. Diseases associated with MAPK8IP2 include Cervical Verrucous Carcinoma and Isthmus Cancer.
