Product Details
TrpV3
Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 3 or TrpV3 is encoded by the gene TprV3. TrpV3 is a member of the transient receptor potential cation channel family. TrpV3 is thought to function in a variety of processes, including temperature sensation and vasoregulation. This channel is activated at temperatures between 22 and 40 °C. TrpV3 is found at the membrane in the CNS, PNS and skin where it acts as a transducer of thermal stimuli. Diseases associated with TRPV3 include several types of Keratoderma.
