ICT’s HRP Goat Anti Mouse IgG Fc is suitable for ELISA, Western blotting, and histology techniques.
Goats were immunized with a purified preparation of mouse IgG Fc fragment that was obtained from a purified normal mouse IgG antibody protein pool. The hyperimmune IgG fraction was initially pre-adsorbed over solid phase gels bearing covalently coupled mouse Fab protein. Subsequently, the goat anti-Mouse IgG Fc antibody was adsorbed to and eluted from a second solid phase immunoaffinity purification gel containing covalently coupled mouse IgG Fc protein.
Affinity purified, anti-mouse IgG Fc specific goat IgG was covalently coupled with HRP using a maleimide (M)- facilitated conjugation technique. In this process, free sulfhydryl groups are added to the anti-mouse IgG Fc prep just prior to its reaction with a 4-fold molar excess of HRP-M. This process produces a Goat IgG HRP conjugate that contains between 2 and 4 HRP molecules per IgG molecule.
Using ID and IEP analysis techniques, the IgG component of this Goat anti-Mouse IgG Fc HRP conjugate was specific for normal mouse IgG and was non-reactive with IgM or IgE serum proteins.
The conjugate is dissolved in a Tris based conjugate stabilization buffer containing 50 ppm ProClin 300 anti-microbial agent.
