GIT2
G-protein coupled receptor kinase interacting ArfGAP 2 is encoded by the gene GIT2. GIT2 is a member of the GIT protein family. GIT2 has a be shown to repress lamellipodial extension and focal adhesion turnover, and is thought to regulate cell motility. GIT2 is expressed in 207 organs with the highest expression level in the right hemisphere of cerebellum. Diseases associated with GIT2 include Gastric Antral Vascular Ectasia and Systemic Scleroderma.
