Forkhead Box I2 is encoded by the gene FOXI2. FOXI2 is a possible transcription activator. FOXI2 is expressed in 29 organs with the highest levels detected in the branchial arch ectoderm (mouse). Diseases associated with FOXI2 include Coloboma of Macula.
