Adult rat brain membrane immunoblotImmunofluorescence of human frontal cortex with K28/74 (green), rabbit Synapsin-1 (red) and DAPI (blue). Twelve images from 100 nm sections (left) were volume-reconstructed via array tomography (31.5 x 34 x 1.2 mm, right). Image courtesy of Nancy O’Rourke, Nafisa Ghori and Stephen Smith (Stanford).
Immunofluorescence staining of cultured rat hippocampal neurons with K28/43 (green) and K57/1 (red, Kv4.2).Electron micrograph of K28/43 hippocampal labelling using a post-embedding immunogold method. Immunoparticles (arrows) are seen in the postsynaptic densities of dendritic spines (s) forming asymmetrical synapses with axon terminals (b). Scale bar = 200 nm. Adult rat basal forebrain immunofluorescence with antigen retrieval via sodium citrate pretreatment with K37/89 (red) and Kv2.1 rabbit (green). Image courtesy of Kaori Misonou and Hiroaki Misonou (University of Maryland, now at Doshisha University, Japan).Immunoblot against adult rat brain membranes (RBM) and extracts of COS cells transiently transfected with Myc-tagged Kv2.2short, GFP-tagged Kv2.2long or untagged Kv2.1 plasmid probed with K37/89 (left), K89/34 (middle) or N52A/42 (right) TC supe.
Adult rat brain membrane immunoblot
Immunofluorescence staining transiently Kv1.6-transfected COS cells.Immunoblot on adult rat brain membrane (RBM) and lysates from Kv1.6-transfected (COS+) and untransfected (COS-) COS cells.
Immunolabeling of postnatal 14 mouse hippocampus specifically labeling Kv1.1 (Cat no 75-007, 1:200, green) and Ankyrin G (red). DNA labeled with DAPI. Mice were transcardially perfused with ice-cold 4% paraformaldehyde in PBS, then brain removed and postfixed overnight. The 50 uM slices were floating sections, where antigen retrieval was performed with sodium citrate at 80 C for 30 minutes before immunolabeling. Images from J. Ramirez-Franco and O. El Far, Aix-Marseille Université and INSERM.Adult rat brain hippocampus immunohistochemistry.
Adult rat brain membrane immunoblot.Immunoblot on adult mouse brain membranes from two wild-type (WT1,2) and Kvβ2 knockout (Kvβ2 KO) mice. Brain samples courtesy of Dr. Geoff Murphy, Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience Institute, University of Michigan.
Adult rat brain membrane immunoblot.Immunoblot on membrane fractions of whole rat (RBM) and mouse (MBM) brain and from human cerebral cortex [HBM(Cx)] and hippocampus [HBM(H)].
Adult rat brain immunohistochemistry (with antigen retrieval via sodium citrate pretreatment).Immunoblot versus crude membranes from adult rat brain (RBM) and wild-type (WT) and LRRK2 KO mouse brains probed with 8G10 (left), N241A/34 (middle) and K89/34 (right) TC supe.
