Anti-Kv6.4 Potassium Channel Antibody (N458/10)
Our Anti-Kv6.4 potassium channel mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N458/10. It detects mouse and rat Kv6.4 potassium channel, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ICC, WB.

Product Details
Kv6.4 potassium channel
Voltage-gated K+ channels are important determinants of neuronal membrane excitability (Pongs, 1999). Moreover, differences in K+ channel expression patterns and densities contribute to the variations in action potential waveforms and repetitive firing patterns evident in different neuronal cell types. Members of the Kv5-Kv11 families code for “silent subunits” that do not express as functional homomultimers. In heterologous expression systems, silent subunits can coassemble with Kv2 and Kv3 subunits and modulate the biophysical characteristics of the latter subunits (Yan L. et al., 2004).
