Product Details
TWIK-2
Potassium two pore domain channel subfamily K member 6 is encoded by the gene KCNK6. KCNK6 is a member of the two pore domain potassium channel (TC 1.A.1.8) family. KCNK6 is considered an open rectifier, and is stimulated by arachidonic acid and inhibited by internal acidification and volatile anaesthetics. KCNK6 is expressed in platelets and testis. Diseases associated with KCNK6 include Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Gingival Recession.
